"Fun with Jeanne" is my way of sharing the fun, excitement, and news about Jeanne Robertson. A way to share stories, photos, and information, it is one part fan club and one part update. Comments and questions are welcome. My name is Linda, but I go by MissDazey. I am not affiliated with her company other than being her loyal friend and fan.

Fox Theatre Welcomes Characters

Fox Theatre in Hutchinson, KS

Isn't this a grand old theatre? Built in 1931, it has been completely restored to it's original art deco style and beauty. The Historic Fox Theatre in Hutchinson, KS has seen its share of acts, movies, events, and yes-even characters through the years. I am proud to share two more characters, I mean events; I have a personal interest in both.
Jeanne Robertson and Carl Hurley will be there on August 25 with their "Double Funny" show. They are two of the funniest characters around. Each one is an experienced professional speaker; together their shows are hilarious. (For tickets information please call, 800-955-4746)
The 140Conf Small Town event will be held at the Fox on September 20. If you are not familiar with Jeff Pulver and his excellent 140 Conferences, please visit this site. My twitter buddies Cody Heitschmidt and Becky McCray are hosting this event again this year. I will be watching via the live stream.
On her video "Just For Fun" Jeanne tells about getting online and putting her video on YouTube. She has a line in that story that I love, she says, "I don't Twitter", as she shakes herself. I do "Twitter", in fact I tweet a lot about Jeanne. I also follow her on Facebook.
How much fun is this-- my Jeanne, who has been a humorist for over 45 years and my young social media friends both in the same city on the same stage. Even if a month apart, I think it's "cool". Jeanne understands that new tools that the Internet brings is a great way to connect with her audience, so do I. Just for fun, my YouTube salutes.
