    Jeanne will be appearing onstage in the beautiful Chapel on the Evangel University campus. The chapel is a place for both services and various programs for the facility and students. It is also one of Springfield’s most popular venues for concerts, special events, etc.

   Evangel University is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, which has their headquarters in Springfield. Evangel is an accredited liberal art school with over 100 programs available. Please click here to learn more about Evangel. 

   The 80 acres where Evangel now stands is an historical landmark for Springfield, MO. It was the site of O’Reilly General Army Hospital during WWII. Please read more about it here. I am old enough to remember stories about it and its marvelous work and care for our USA military forces.   

   The doors will open at 6:30 for the 7:30pm show: there will be no intermission. Remember  that it will be open seating, so come early to select your seats. There are really no bad seats and each one is a comfortable cushion theater type seat. Jeanne will be in the lobby before and after the show. She truly enjoys meeting people and having a "picther" taken with them.

    Now for a personal side-note, I see a theme here. As I said, Evangel is affiliated with Assemblies of God. That means there should be a large group of AG people there. (If you are AG folk, be sure to tell everyone about the show. It will be an evening of good, clean fun.)  Jeanne is Methodist and guess what? The Missouri Methodists are meeting in Springfield this weekend for their annual conference.
